My first ever sewing pattern is here!
With everything going on in the world at the moment, a lot of us a looking towards creative crafts for a distraction. We want to feel useful, be productive, be distracted and have fun. This is why I thought it was the perfect time to release my first PDF print-at-home sewing pattern!
Learn how to make our best-selling backpack style. Medium sized, it’s perfect for daily outings, short trips and looking fabulous – but it’s also designed to be hardy and durable. The pattern is made up entirely of straight lines, which makes it beginner friendly, but it does include some more advanced skills like bias binding so it can be fun for anyone.
There will be two bundles available to purchase:
The PDF print-at-home pattern, including:
- 11 pages of printable A4 paper to stick together and form the pattern pieces
- Extensive, detailed step-by-step instructions for every stage, including photos
- Access to our sew-along video where you can watch me make one of the Sofia backpacks, have any questions answered and get some tips and tricks on making this backpack perfect.
The Sofia Backpack Sewing Kit, including all of the above, plus:
- A parcel sent to your door including all (sustainable!) fabrics, zipper, strap webbing, bias binding and hardware that you will need to make the backpack.
Both bundles will be sold on Etsy, but please note that due to their system you will need to purchase both the PDF pattern and the Kit separately if you would like the full Kit bundle, because their system does not allow products to be listed that include both digital and physical aspects.
